Board Meeting June 11 at 7:00 am Last Day of School June 9
We are excited to announce the addition of 7th and 8th grade at Creston School!
As part of our ongoing commitment to the Creston community, we continue to listen to the needs of our families and students. We know each family must choose what’s best for their child, and we are proud to offer a strong, local option as we expand.
While we had hoped to host a community meeting, the final weeks of the school year are quickly filling up. If you’re interested in learning more, please reach out to Dr. Cheryl Peterson to schedule a time to connect.
Our new junior high program will focus on exploring a variety of career pathways through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Students will also have access to electives including Spanish, Leadership, Career Technical Education (CTE), Journalism, Music, and Community Service.
We are also proud to implement Project Lead the Way (PLTW), bringing high-quality, project-based learning that builds real-world skills and inspires curiosity. Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a nationally recognized program that provides students with hands-on, real-world learning experiences designed to build critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills. Through engaging, project-based activities, students explore areas such as science, technology, engineering, and career pathways while working on challenges that reflect real-life careers. PLTW helps students discover their interests, build confidence, and develop practical skills that prepare them for success in high school and beyond—whether they choose college, a trade, or the workforce.
We look forward to continuing to grow together and serve our students, families, and the Creston community.
