Weather Alerts - Closures & Late Starts

During weather‑related events, Creston School works closely with the National Weather Service, the Flathead County Road Department, and the Kalispell City Road Department to ensure we have the most accurate and up‑to‑date information. Road conditions, visibility, temperatures, and weather forecasts are all carefully evaluated before any decisions are made regarding school operations.

  • We will notify families promptly via text, email, and our website.

  • Student make-up days may be necessary and will be determined by the Creston Board of Trustees.

  • Partner districts may review the decisions of neighboring districts, as part of their overall evaluation; however, Creston School independently determines whether to close, delay, or remain open based on conditions specific to our community.

Two-Hour Late Start
