    Dr. Cheryl Peterson

    Principal

    Cheryl has been in education for over 33 years as a teacher and administrator. Her vision is to create a supportive environment where teachers can prepare students to thrive as they learn about the community and world they live in. Cheryl enjoys swimming, walking her huskey, gardening, and traveling.

  • Gina McWilliam

    Gina McWilliam

    District Clerk and Office/Business Manager

    Gina McWilliam has 25 years as a public servant in pubic safety.  She has managed a records unit in a municipal police department handling everything from public records and customer service, instituting policy and procedure, and managing, supervising, and training civilian personnel.  She enjoys photography, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

  • Sarah Motley

    Sarah Motley

    Office Assistant

    Mrs. Motley is originally from Washington. She earned a double major in Psychology and Bible & Theology from Multnomah University. After moving to the Flathead Valley 14 years ago, she has spent time working in various mental health and primary care clinics, while taking breaks to raise her children.

    When she’s not at school, she loves a good book, anything chocolate, and sneaking in a power nap to keep up with her three kids (& husband!).

  • Shanta Milne

    Shanta Milne

    Kindergarten

    Mrs. Milne is originally from Columbus, Montana, and is a proud Griz fan — Go Griz! She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Montana and completed a minor in Early Childhood through the University of Montana Western.

    When she’s not in the classroom, Mrs. Milne loves spending time with her family and enjoying Montana adventures, including traveling, fishing, camping, and relaxing on the lake.

  • Teresa Mumm

    Teresa Mumm

    First Grade

    Mrs. Mumm is originally from Iowa. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Dubuque and went on to receive her Master of Education from Hastings College in Nebraska.

    Outside of school, Mrs. Mumm stays busy cheering on her boys at all their sports and activities, camping, paddle boarding, and working out. She’s a big fan of Pigeon or Piggie and Gerald, the Green Bay Packers, AND she can say the alphabet backwards!

  • Melissa Potts

    Melissa Potts

    Second Grade

    Ms. Potts was born and raised right here in the area and loves being part of the community she calls home. She began her schooling at Swan River, graduated from Bigfork High School, and continued her education through Flathead Valley Community College as well as programs in Bozeman and Dillon.

    Outside of school, Ms. Potts enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially when it involves outdoor adventures like barrel racing, camping, hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing.

  • Pauline Davidson

    Pauline Davidson

    Third Grade/Fourth Grade

    Mrs. Davidson was born in Austin, Texas, and spent her growing-up years in Cat Spring, Texas. She graduated from Bellville High School and went on to attend the University of Mary Hardin–Baylor, where she earned a double major in Education and Spanish Language — and met her husband of 26 years! She later continued her studies at Middlebury College’s Madrid Campus, earning a Master’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature.

    Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Davison enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, making her home a warm and welcoming space, and taking walks with her dog, Jack.

  • Jen Johnson

    Jen Johnson

    Fifth Grade

    Mrs. Jen Johnson is a Missoula native and a big Griz fan — Go Griz! She completed her schooling in Missoula, earning her degree from the University of Montana, and later received her master’s degree through the University of Phoenix. Mrs. Johnson brings her love of learning and strong educational background into her 5th grade classroom every day.

    She loves exploring hiking trails, walking corgis, and huckleberry ice cream.

  • Jamie Shanks

    Jamie Shanks

    Sixth Grade

    Mrs. Shanks was born in Great Falls, Montana, and attended Bigfork Schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. She spent a year at Gonzaga University planning to become an accountant, but after a memorable experience with business calculus, she discovered her path might lead elsewhere!

    Mrs. Shanks enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors, especially camping, fishing for brook trout, and visiting the lake where she grew up. Her kryptonite? Her fear of chickens.

  • Cindi Conley

    Cindi Conley

    Special Education

    Mrs. Conley received her Special Education degree from Western Governors University. She is passionate about teaching and providing learning opportunities for students who need support. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and spending time with family.

  • Bobbie Visnovske

    Bobbie Visnovske

    Art, Music, PE

    Mrs. Bobbie Visnovske, affectionately known as Mrs. V, was born and raised in Hoboken, New Jersey. She earned her undergraduate degree from Montclair State University before heading just a few miles away to the bright lights of New York City, where she worked on Wall Street for three years. Feeling called to education, Mrs. V returned to school to earn her teaching credential and a Master’s degree in Education from St. Peter’s University.

    When she’s not at school, you can catch her doing almost anything active and adventurous with her husband and daughter.

  • Rachel Leighty

    Rachel Leighty

    Classroom Aide

    Mrs. Leighty was raised in Texas and California and has proudly called Montana home since 2000. Her wonderful family and spirited animals ensure her life is never dull. She came to Creston School as a classroom aide in 2017, and she loves working with the amazing staff, supportive parents, and fabulous students — and proudly says this is the best place she has ever worked!

    Chadlee Stephens

    Director of Maintenance and Custodial

    Chadlee has over 10 years of experience in construction and equipment maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance repair.

    Outside of work, Chadlee enjoys making memories with his children through hiking, fishing, kayaking, hunting, and camping adventures around the area.
